If you follow my blog, you’ve probably already heard of Kraut und Korn! This week, I’m sharing an autumnal recipe for Cauliflower Steak with Orange Curry, made with one of my favorite Kraut und Korn spice blends: spicy orange curry.

I accompanied the cauliflower steaks with labneh, a relatively thick Lebanese yogurt, which I spiced up with orange and fresh herbs. Perfect for an appetizer or a simple meal with toast.

Kraut und Korn, in a few words….

Behind Kraut und Korn is Hendrik, an enthusiast of wild herbs and cooking. The idea of Kraut und Korn is to offer spice blends made from natural and often unusual ingredients.

Thus, wild herbs such as blackberry leaves, nettle leaves, chaste tree seeds or white clover flowers are used in the spice mixtures and Kraut und Korn.

You can find all the products of Kraut und Korn on their website.

For the following recipe, I used the Spicy Orange Curry blend. It is a slightly spicy curry spice blend with a delicious orange note. It includes the following ingredients: Coriander seeds, orange peel, fenugreek, turmeric, cumin, chilli, ginger, fennel seeds, mustard flour, black pepper, garlic, cloves, jasmine flowers.
