3 reasons to eat toast!

If you are a subscriber to my blog, you’ve probably already noticed that I love toasts. And yes, for me it is one of the easiest, cheapest and fastest meals to make. In addition, there are many ways to vary the recipes for toast.

  1. A quick and easy meal at the same time: Toasts generally require little or no cooking. When I work from home at lunch and don’t want to spend my lunch break in the kitchen, I love to make toast as a main dish.
  2. A healthy and balanced meal : Toast can be healthy and balanced at the same time. For this, choose bread made from wholemeal flours such as rye or spelt. And above all, don’t hesitate to add vegetables to your toast. I also like to serve my toast with a small green salad or tomato salad on the side.
  3. A way to eat leftovers! We don’t often think about it, but toasts are a great way to reuse leftovers: Have you prepared leftover grilled vegetables but don’t have enough left over for a whole meal? Serve them on toast with hummus or pesto! Leftover cheese: perfect for grilling on toast!
