I love scrambled eggs! You too ? This time, I decided to garnish my scrambled eggs with Comté and cherry tomatoes. Perfect for the weekend, for breakfast or for a brunch! Here is my recipe for Scrambled Eggs with Comté and Cherry Tomatoes!

Tips for successful scrambled eggs!

This is perhaps one of the easiest ways to prepare eggs: scrambled eggs. However, even though they are simple to prepare, cooking scrambled eggs is essential to achieve the perfect consistency: cooked but not too dry. So here’s a little guide to how to cook scrambled eggs perfectly.

How many eggs per person?

I usually count 1.5 eggs per person. For two people, count three eggs and for four people 6 eggs.

Prepare the scrambled eggs

Before cooking the eggs, it is important to beat them before. To do this, just break the eggs into a small bowl and beat them with a fork or a small whisk. Some recipes suggest adding milk or cream. It’s quite possible, but it’s just a matter of taste. In general, I don’t add any.

Cooking scrambled eggs

I advise you to cook your scrambled eggs in a pan at medium heat. You can use oil or butter, personally, I use olive oil very often. If you use butter, be careful that it does not burn.

The cooking time completely depends on the desired result. For creamy scrambled eggs, remove the eggs from the heat when they are still slightly shiny. For a drier and therefore more cooked result, remove the eggs once they have a matte appearance.
