Pointed Red Cabbage and Feta Salad

Red cabbage, you certainly know, but have you ever tried pointed red cabbage, also called Kalibos cabbage? It is actually a cross between red cabbage and pointed cabbage. If you’ve never tried it before, here’s a simple recipe for a Pointed Red Cabbage and Feta Salad.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 pointed red cabbage
  • 100 g of feta
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parsley

Instructions
 

  • Wash and cut the red cabbage finely pointed. In a bowl add a dash of olive oil and lemon juice. Add a pinch of salt. Massage the cabbage with your hands for about 5 minutes.
  • Cut the feta into pieces. Peel the carrot and cut it into thin strips.
  • Prepare the salad dressing by mixing the olive oil, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Then, combine the pointed red cabbage, carrot and sauce. Add a bit of parsley and sprinkle with feta.
