I have to admit it, at home you will never find Nutella. However when I made my recipe for French Toast Rolls, I absolutely needed some Nutella or rather chocolate and hazelnut spread. So I decided to test several recipes and here is my favorite: Homemade Nutella with 4 ingredients and no bake!

Ingredients

  • 400 g of sweetened condensed milk
  • 140 g ground hazelnuts
  • 120 g dark chocolate
  • 40 g butter

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate with the butter in the microwave on low power. (Note that for the video, I melted them separately but melting them together is easier).
  • In a bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, the ground hazelnuts, the dark chocolate and the melted butter. Mix well.
  • Leave like this or for a finer texture mix everything using a blender. Pour into a closed jar.

Notes

This homemade Nutella will keep for at least two weeks in the refrigerator. Take the Nutella out about 30 minutes before using it because it hardens a bit when kept cool. The ambient temperature will soften it a bit.
