Crumble is one of my favorite desserts! As we are in the middle of the plum season, I decided to make a Plum and Almond Crumble. The combination of plums and almonds is delicious, although subtle, in this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 500 g plums quetsches
  • 120 g flour
  • 100 g butter soft
  • 60 g ground almonds
  • 60 g sugar

  • Wash the plums, cut them in half and remove the pit.
  • Butter an ovenproof dish. Then place the plums in such a way that they are tightly packed.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, almond powder and cinnamon. Add the butter and mix the batter with your hands to form a sandy crumble, leaving a few large chunks.
  • Place the crumble on the plums. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 175°C.
  • Serve warm or cold with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
