Hummus, Mushroom and Soy Sauce Toast

Here is an original and simple recipe for Hummus, Mushroom and Soy Sauce Toast. These toasts are perfect for a quick meal during the week or a savory breakfast on the weekend. You can even serve these toasts in small portions as an appetizer. The icing on the cake: these toasts are 100 % vegan!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 150 g mushrooms cut into strips
  • 100 g hummus see my recipe for Homemade Hummus Without Garlic
  • 1 dash of soy sauce about 10 ml
  • 1 lime
  • Neutral oil

Instructions
 

  • Toast the slices of bread.
  • To toast your bread slices, you can either toast them in the toaster or in the pan that you will use to sauté the mushrooms, with or without a drizzle of oil.
  • Then prepare your hummus if you make it homemade. Find my recipe of Homemade Hummus without garlic, very easy and fast to make.
  • In a pan, heat a drizzle of oil. Then add the mushrooms. Sauté for 5 minutes. Then, at the end of cooking, pour a drizzle of soy sauce, about 10 ml.
  • Spread hummus on your slices of bread and place the mushrooms on top. Finish with a few drops of lime and a little pepper.
