Oatmeal with Figs, Apples and Cinnamon

Ingredients
  

For the basic recipe

  • 1 glass of oats
  • 1 glass of milk vagan or not
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1/2 apple finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

For toppings

  • 2 figs
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 apple
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 handful of blueberries
  • 1 stablepoonful of homemade granola

Instructions
 

  • Cut the figs in four and place them in a glass dish. Pour a tablespoon of honey. Bake the figs for 15 minutes in the oven at 175°C.
  • Place the oats, milk, water, chopped 1/2 apple, honey and cinnamon in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook in the microwave at high heat for 2 min 30 sec. Let the oatmeal cool for a few minutes while you prepare the topppings.
  • Cut the rest of the apple finely. Place the apple in a microwave-safe bowl. Add a teaspoon of cinnamon and brown sugar. Cook on medium power for 2 to 3 minutes until apple compote is obtained.
  • First place the apple compote on the cooked oatmeal. Then, add the fig wedges and the blueberries. Finally, sprinkle with homemade granola.
