Equipment

  • 1 large glass dish

Ingredients

For the rolls

  • 300 g flour
  • 30 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 7 g instant yeast dry
  • 150 ml milk
  • 40 g butter

For the blueberry filling

  • 160 g blueberries
  • 40 g butter melted
  • 50 g of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

For the icing

  • 100 g Greek yogurt
  • 30 g of cream cheese
  • 50 ml milk
  • 65 g icing sugar

Instructions

Step 1: dough

  • In a bowl, mix the flour and instant yeast. Add the sugar and salt. Mix well.
  • Then heat the milk and butter over low heat. Make sure that the preparation is not too hot (no more than 35 ° C) and pour it into the bowl. Mix well until it forms a dough.
  • Then knead the dough for 5 minutes. Then, form a ball. Cover the dough with a clean tea towel and let it rest for 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Step 2: blueberry filling

  • Meanwhile, place the blueberries in a small bowl. Add the melted butter, sugar and cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Once the dough has rested, roll it out with a rolling pin. Form a rectangle about 30 cm by 40 cm.
  • Cover the dough with the blueberry mixture. Then roll up the dough lengthwise.

Step 3: bake

  • Preheat the oven to 175 ° C (top and bottom heat). Then cut sections about 5 cm wide to form your rolls.
  • Butter a glass dish and arrange the rolls in the dish, leaving a few centimeters between them. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Then bake the rolls in the oven for about 25 minutes.

Step 4: icing

  • While the rolls are in the oven, prepare the frosting.
  • Mix the Greek yogurt, cream cheese, milk and sugar. Then whip them all using a robot to obtain a very smooth icing.
  • Once out of the oven, let the rolls cool slightly and add the icing once the rolls are only slightly warm.
