Ingredients
  

For the brownie with hazelnuts

  • 80 g flour
  • 25 g of cocoa powder
  • 120 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 g butter
  • 175 g dark chocolate
  • 50 g of hazelnuts

For the salted butter caramel

  • 120 g sugar
  • 80 salted butter
  • 20 cl liquid cream

Instructions
 

Step 1: The salted butter caramel

  • Pour the sugar into a saucepan and heat over medium heat. The sugar should melt and take on a golden color.
  • Pour the liquid cream into another saucepan and heat over low heat without boiling it.
  • Then add the cream to the caramel sugar little by little. Mix well. Once the cream is well incorporated, add the salted butter.
  • Salted caramel always thickens as it cools, if your caramel is too liqdui, you can put it back on the heat and cooki it longer until it thickens.

Step 2: Hazelnut Brownie

  • Preheat the oven to 175 ° C (traditional heat). In a salad bowl, pour the flour, cocoa powder and sugar. Add the eggs and stir everything.
  • In another bowl, mix the butter and chocolate. Melt everything in the microwave or in a double boiler.
  • Then, mix the butter and melted chocolate with the flour. Add the hazelnuts. Mix everything.
  • Pour into a rectangular mold (about 20 x 15 cm) and add a few more hazelnuts for decoration. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Then let the brownie cool. Then add the salted butter on top.
