Servings 30 cookies

For the cookies

  • 200 g flour
  • 85 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 125 g butter

For decoration

  • 75 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • Grated coconut
  • Chopped hazelnuts

Step 1: The cookie dough

  • Start by pouring the flour and sugar into a bowl.
  • Add the egg and butter. Mix everything using a kitchen machine if possible. Then form a ball with the dough. Place the dough in the refrigirator for 45 min till 1 hour.

Step 2: Shape the cookies

  • Once the dough has cooled, place it on a clean surface. Work the dough with your hands. Then roll out the dough until it is about 0.5 cm thick.
  • Using a small baking circle or a glass, form round cookies.

Step 3: Baking

  • Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Bake the biscuits for 12 minutes at 175 °C (fan oven).

Step 4: Decoration

  • Meanwhile, melt the chocolate and coconut oil. You can melt it in the microwave on low power or in a water bath.
  • Once out of the oven, dip half of the cookies in the chocolate. Drop the excess and place the cookies on baking paper. Leave them as they are or add grated coconut or pieces of hazelnuts.
  • Leave to cool for 1 hour in the refrigerator or outside if it is cold enough!
