Here is a simple and delicious recipe for a Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Gaperon, a French cheese unique in flavor. This grilled sandwich is perfect for a quick meal with a green salad for example.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 slices of wholemeal bread
  • 50 g of gaperon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 10 g butter
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 175°C.
  • Chop the onion. Heat a little butter in a skillet and sauté the onion for 10 minutes on medium/low heat.
  • Meanwhile, butter the bread slices on both sides.
  • Cut the gaperon into slices.
  • On a slice of bread, place baby spinach, gaperon and caramelized onions. Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread. Season with salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Grill the sandwich in the oven for 15 minutes at 175°C.
