3 reasons to eat pancakes for breakfast!
If you’re still not convinced to try pancakes for breakfast, here are three reasons:
- It’s quick and easy to make! Pancake batter is very simple to prepare. No special technique or kitchen utensils are required. Simply combine the ingredients in a bowl, mix with a whisk or even a fork and the dough is ready in 5 minutes. The cooking time is also only a few minutes.
- This allows you to eat fruit and fill up on vitamins. Pancakes are delicious eaten with fruit, especially red fruit, but you can also eat them with apples or exotic fruits like mango or bananas. Add a drizzle of maple or agave syrup if you wish.
- Contrary to their image, pancakes can be nutritious without being too fatty or sweet. Pancake batter is made up of flour, a little baking powder, milk and eggs. Butter is not a necessary part of the pancake batter. For my part, I like to add yogurt to make the pancakes even fluffier, just a little sugar but not too much and sometimes cinnamon as in this recipe.

Fat-free cooking with LeMax Grill
Some time ago, I discovered the LeMax Grill from Elag, a very powerful electric grill that can cook food at very high temperatures (up to 300°C) with little or no added fat.
Its use is very simple: just plug it in, preheat it and once the plate is hot, you can place the food directly on it. In the summer, you can use it as a barbecue and prepare your grills and skewers outdoors, thus avoiding the use of charcoal, which is harmful to health in large doses.
What I find particularly impressive is the way the heat is distributed very evenly and gives the pancakes a beautiful golden color all over.

Of course, you can also make these pancakes with any other pan. Be careful in this case, to take a non-stick pan to avoid that the pancakes do not stick.
