How to make melon balls?

Making melon balls is super easy and super fast. The melon balls are also fun to eat and will make children love fruit.

Melon Ball Salad with Lime

Traditionally, a special kitchen utensil called “cuillère à pomme parisienne” or melon baller is used. This is used to easily dig the melon balls directly into the flesh.

The melon baller is a spoon with a round shape and thin edges, without being sharp. The particularity of this spoon is that it has a small hole in the middle so that the juice can drip off.

Melon Ball Salad with Lime

My melon ballercomes from the Triangle brand with whom I work regularly. Its peculiarity is that it has two sides and therefore two different sizes of balls can be made.

If you don’t have a special utensil for making melon balls, you can cut your melons into cubes. This will not change the taste!
